Primo Maxx® plant growth regulator promotes denser, healthier turf that is better able to withstand a variety of stresses including heat, drought, diseases and traffic. It slows the production of gibberellic acid, a plant hormone that promotes cell elongation. Vertical shoot growth is slowed, while lateral and below-ground growth of rhizomes, stolons, tillers and roots is stimulated.

The active ingredient in Trimmit 2SC, Paclobutrazol, suppresses Poa annua and is a proven plant growth regulator for managing top growth of turfgrasses. Use it on established hybrid bermudagrass, bentgrass, bluegrass and perennial ryegrass fairways, tees, and roughs. For growth suppression on established bermudagrass and St. Augustine, it can be used when the grass is green, actively growing and has recovered from dormancy.

Application:

Apply Primo MAXX to healthy, actively growing turf before the onset of stress. Multiple applications of Primo MAXX will reduce water use and improve drought tolerance. Do not use Trimmet 2SC on residential lawns. Do not use Trimmet 2SC on bermudagrass putting greens except for winter overseeding enhancement use. Do not use Trimmet 2SC on athletic fields under heavy traffic. For best residual activity, Trimmit 2SC should be removed from leaf surface by irrigation or rainfall prior to mowing.
