How to Choose Your S14 LED Patio Light Bulbs
LED patio light bulbs, also known as the S14 bulb, can do wonders to a backyard space or summertime event. Enjoying the outdoors does not have to end when the sun goes down. Bistro or patio lights add a warm, illuminated glow to your gathering areas ensuring the good times can roll on all night long.
Choose from your standard S14 retrofit bulbs in colors like cool white and sun warm or add some flair with colored S14 patio bulbs. Our LED patio lighting products are energy efficient and are suitable for use indoors or outdoors.
LED patio lighting can turn an ordinary backyard into something magical. The glowing light emitted from the bistro bulbs instantly brings warmth to an outdoor space. There are many different S14 bulbs to choose from including glass-construction, dimmable, filament, and a selection of fun colors. Retrofit patio light bulbs allow you to easily replace a single bulb in a string of lights or replace existing incandescent bulbs with new LEDs.
Using Your LED Patio Lights
The possibilities for designing with patio lights are endless. In a typical setting, hanging S14 bulbs above outdoor patios, decks and fence lines are popular choices. At weddings and other outdoor events, you will often see walkways, gazebo or pergolas, and archways illuminated by the soft glow of LED patio bulbs.
E26 wire is required to string your S14 patio bulbs. We offer E26 socket wire in various lengths for all projects, no matter the size: 54’, 108’, and 330’. The wire is high-quality and durable which is critical in standing up to the outdoor elements.
Once your lighting design is set and the wire is hung, simply screw in the retrofit S14 bulbs, and connect your wire to power. Boom, that is what you call an easy upgrade.
Pro Tip: Consider adding a pattern design when constructing your patio lighting. These designs are often simple to implement with a bit of planning and offer another layer of charm. Examples of patterns include an X-shape, zig-zag, or swag.
