Reinders Non-Coated Premium Ryegrass Blend is a unique blend of Fiesta 4, Replicator, and Banfield perennial ryegrass. Reinders Coated Premium Ryegrass Blend is a unique blend of Wicked, Tetraploid, and Karma perennial ryegrass. With these leading edge of top varieties Premium Ryegrass Blend is a ryegrass blend that will see turf professionals into the future.

Each of Premium Ryegrass blend's components was screened and selected for the strength it adds to the blend. While all varieties are superb on their own, combined they are unbeatable. Wicked provides outstanding deep green color, density, drought and heat tolerance, and resistance to brown patch. Tetraploid lends persistence, dark green color and lower growing. Karma leads to improved insect resistance, a dark green color, and density.

Premium Ryegrass Blend is designed as a solution to turf problems in heavy traffic areas. It is intended as an overseeding formula for athletic fields, golf course tees and fairways, playgrounds, foot paths and other areas of wear. It establishes a durable turf on heavily compacted soils. Premium Ryegrass Blend is fast with seedlings in 5- 7 days on warm soils. These rapid establishing, aggressive seedings are highly competitive against annual weedy grasses and provide stability for soils prone to erosion.

Maintenance

This blend should be considered a high maintenance formula where traffic tolerance is primary concern. Maximum stands on compacted soils will be achieved through the use of a slicer/seeder or seeding after core cultivation and drag matting to provide sufficient seed-to-soil contact. The turf may be maintained down to 1/2-inch mowing height with excellent retention of density and aggressiveness. Generally, Reinders Premium Ryegrass Blend should be fertilized 2 to 4 times per season depending upon traffic intensity and soil type
