Lead-free design is suitable for all no-lead potable water installations, in full compliance of the lead-free plumbing law.

Sealed screen cap is not drilled and tapped for a closure plug, but can be removed for cleaning and screen replacement. The screen cap must be positioned downward when installing the T-16NL in the horizontal position. In the vertical position, the media must flow downward.

The diamond-shaped openings of the extruded strainer have edges that are angled outward, improving straining and debris-holding, as these edges break-up and trap debris more effectively than traditional round-wire square opening woven mesh strainers.
