Rain Bird’s Easy Fit compression fitting system makes installing drip irrigation tubing, pipe and fittings faster and easier, with 50 percent less force required for connection. It’s great for maintenance and retrofitting existing systems, with eight components (three fittings and five adapters) that can be built into more than 160 different configurations.
Other specs for these high-quality compression fittings:
- Operating pressure: 0-60 PSI
- Works with a wide manufacturer range of ½-inch drip tubing line, in which the outside diameter ranges from .630" to .669" (16mm to 17mm); also works with threaded PVC pipe

Rain Bird’s low-volume irrigation products were coined with the phrase “Xerigation” in the 1990s and include drip irrigation and low-volume spray products. This drip system, rated by many irrigation contractors as the highest in quality, is the most efficient way to water landscapes. Over the last fifteen years, Rain Bird has introduced a wide Xeri-series product range, including the Xeri-Bubbler™, Xeri-Bird™, Xeri-Bug™, Xeri-Spray and other top-rated landscape drip products.

Rain Bird - 1800 Xeri-Bubbler™ Adapter
- This drip irrigation fitting’s inlet accepts ½-inch female PVC or poly pipe threads that screw onto a Rain Bird 1800 series or UNI-Spray or shrub adapter.
- Outlet: 10-32 threads that accept any emission device with 10-32 threads including Xeri-Bugs™, PC Modules, Xeri-Bubblers™ and Xeri-Sprays™.
- Sits at grade when installed on a spray head for a strong, secure installation.
Rain Bird - Xeri-Bird™ 8 Multi-Outlet Emission Device
Xeri-Bird™ is the only multi-outlet drip irrigation emission device on the market with eight ports and 10 system flow options that can be configured from 0.5 to 24 gallons per hour using interchangeable emitters or unrestricted flow. Retrofitting is easy when installed with the optional in-stem pressure regulator.
- Built-in, integral 200 mesh filter.
- Each port accepts a Xeri-Bug™ emitter (see below) or PC Module for independent flows from 0.5 to 24 gallons per hour. Or, use a self-piercing barb connector (SPB-025) for unrestricted flow.
- Easy to maintain, because the body can be easily removed from the riser (thanks to a unique union base nut).
- Threads onto any ½-inch riser and delivers water to multiple locations for increased system flexibility.
- Eight bottom-mounted, sure-grip barbed outlets securely retain ¼-inch drip irrigation distribution line tubing (XQ).
- Filter is easily serviceable from the top of the unit.
- For higher-quality performance, drip emitters must be installed inside the Xeri-Bird to help prevent back pressure leaking.
