Award 0-0-7 SOP with 0.067% Acelepryn from EC Grow delivers powerful insect control and potassium nutrition in one application. Formulated with sulfate of potash and Acelepryn®, this granular fertilizer is recognized by the EPA as a reduced-risk insecticide. Its active ingredient, chlorantraniliprole, provides long-lasting, season-long protection against turf-damaging insects like white grubs, cutworms, and sod webworms—at lower use rates and with minimal environmental impact. It’s ideal for turfgrass on golf courses, athletic fields, and other commercial landscapes.

Controls:

This fertilizer controls a broad range of turf-feeding insects through systemic and residual action:

• White Grubs (e.g., Japanese beetle, European chafer, masked chafers)
• Cutworms
• Sod Webworms
• Armyworms
• Chinch Bugs (suppression only)
• Billbugs
• Annual Bluegrass Weevil
• European Crane Fly

Application:

Apply from early spring to early fall for season-long grub control. Use properly calibrated drop-type or rotary spreaders for even coverage. Irrigate after application to move the active ingredient into the soil. Avoid applying to saturated soils or within 48 hours of expected rainfall.

Use Rates:

Apply 3.44 – 6.88 lbs per 1,000 sq ft or 150 – 300 lbs per acre depending on pest pressure and duration of control required.

Precautions:

Wear protective clothing and eyewear when handling. REI (Restricted Entry Interval) is 4 hours. Product is highly toxic to aquatic invertebrates—do not apply near bodies of water. Do not use in greenhouses or commercial nurseries. Not for sale in certain NY counties.

Store in original container in a cool, dry place. Do not reuse or refill bags. Dispose of unused product and empty bags per local regulations.
