Castaway is a homogenous dispersing granule (DG) tea seed meal fertilizer made from the residue of camellia seeds after oil extraction. It can be used in many turfgrass situations and across all turfgrass species. Castaway may also reduce the amount of worm castings on finely-managed turfgrasses.

Application

3.0 - 5.0 LBS/SQ FT

Provides a nitrogen source and is an irritant to earthworms. Water in with approximately 0.25” of water within 12-24 hours after application to avoid mower pick-up. Irrigation or rainfall will disperse each granule into thousands of smaller particles, moving the product into the soil for improved product efficacy and decreased mower pick-up. For use on all cool- and warm-season turfgrasses.

Restrictions

Apply only to actively growing turf. Do not apply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn and sweep any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk or street, back onto your lawn.
