Magnesium Nitrate 7-0-0, 6% Magnesium is a liquid fertilizer combination of nitrate nitrogen for greener turf and magnesium which promotes root development and enzyme activity. The nitrate nitrogen is plant available throughout the growing season, especially at cooler temperatures. Magnesium plays an important role in maintaining favorable water relations between roots and soil. Magnesium is a critical component of chlorophyll, facilitates protein synthesis, regulates enzyme proteins and phosphorous utilization, and activates enzyme activity. Magnesium aids in root development since it is involved in transporting soluble carbohydrates from the leaves to roots, rhizomes and growing points.

Magnesium Nitrate Fertilizer Application

Greens, Tees and Fine Turf: Apply 4-16 OZ with 1.5-2 GAL of water per 1,000 SQ FT (1.4-5.4 GAL with 66-88 GAL of water per ACRE) every 14 days throughout the growing season. This application shall provide 0.02-0.10 LB of actual Nitrogen per 1,000 SQ FT.

Fairways, Roughs, Sports Turf & Lawns: Apply 4-16 OZ with 1-2 GAL of water per 1,000 SQ FT (1.4-5.4 GAL with 44-88 GAL of water per ACRE). Apply once or twice a month as needed throughout the growing season. This application shall provide 0.02-0.10 LB of actual Nitrogen per 1,000 SQ FT.
