EC Grow's DISPER-SUL® Pastille is a high-performance, 90% elemental sulfur product designed to lower soil pH and supply plant-available sulfur throughout the growing season. Combined with bentonite clay and wetting agents, this pastille formulation rapidly breaks down into micro sulfur particles when applied to moist soil, enhancing effectiveness. With an SGN of 290 and very low heavy metal content, this fertilizer is ideal for lawn, garden, and turf professionals looking to optimize sulfur levels and improve nutrient availability in alkaline soils.

Controls:

This product does not function as a pesticide or herbicide. It provides soil amendment and sulfur nutrition only.

Application:

Apply to dry turf or incorporate into garden soils. Watering after application aids in sulfur dispersion. Avoid collecting clippings on the first mowing to prevent product pick-up. Use split applications in spring and early fall for best results. For soil pH reduction, follow recommended application rates based on soil type and desired pH level. Do not exceed 4 lbs/1,000 sq ft per application to avoid turf discoloration during hot, dry conditions.

Use Rates:

• To reduce soil pH from 7.0 to 6.5: apply 2–7 lbs/1,000 sq ft based on soil texture
• Heavier soils may require up to 69 lbs/1,000 sq ft for larger pH reductions
• Reapply in spring and fall; monitor soil pH semi-annually

Precautions:

Causes eye and skin irritation. Flammable as a dust—avoid creating dust clouds. Avoid contact with heat or flames. Do not apply before mowing. Use only with adequate ventilation and appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, mask). Keep out of reach of children. Monitor for turf burn during extreme heat.

Storage & Disposal:

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible materials like oxidizers and acids. Do not reuse bags. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations or return for proper recycling if applicable. Sweep up and contain spills promptly.
