Lontrel® turf and ornamental specialty herbicide provides a high level of turf safety while offering superior postemergence control of clover, dandelion, thistle and dollarweed. Lontrel is labeled for use on both warm- and cool-season turf, but sets the standard for safety to turf in closely mowed bentgrass and Bermudagrass fairways.

Application

0.1-0.5 OZ with water/1,000 SQ FT

Apply to actively growing weeds.

Extreme growing conditions such as drought or near freezing temperatures prior to, at, or following application may reduce weed control and increase the risk of crop injury at all stages of growth.

Only weeds that have emerged at the time of application will be affected.

Wet foliage at the time of application may decrease control.

Applications of Lontrel Turf Ornamental are rainfast within 2 HRS after application.

Restrictions

Do not use on residential turfgrass. Turfgrass and lawn uses are restricted to non-residential sites.

Do not reseed turfgrass for 3 weeks after application.

Not recommended for use on golf course putting greens or tees.

Do not use in greenhouses.

Do not make broadcast applications to ornamental plantings in commercial and residential landscape settings; however, spot and directed applications are permissible.

To avoid plant injury, do not apply to exposed roots of shallow rooted trees and shrubs such as legumes or littleleaf linden. Do not allow sprays of this product to contact exposed suckers and/or roots of susceptible trees or shrubs.

Do not apply this product in tank mix to woody ornamental plants.
