CAPB - Pump Lightning Protection System

The CAPB - Pump is designed to work with the Strike Guard Lightning Warning System to protect irrigation pump stations from lightning-induced surge currents. By providing an early warning, it allows the pump to safely spin down before sprinkler heads and valves close, preventing damage to irrigation pipes due to hydraulic shock. The CAPB - Pump ensures a safe and automatic pump shutdown, reducing repair costs and maximizing system uptime.

The CAPB - Pump is a fully assembled and tested wall-mounted unit requiring only input mains power and control line connections. It includes a WAVE Sequencer housed in a polycarbonate weather-resistant enclosure and a metal switch-gear enclosure for arc-flash protection. It can be activated via direct connection to a Strike Guard Lightning Data Receiver, RF signaling from a WAVE Transmitter, or manual activation.
