Application & Seeding Rates:

Reinders Shade Lawn Seed Mix is ideal for shaded turf areas with 25% to 75% shade coverage. Best results occur when seeded in fall or early spring when leaves do not block light penetration. Recommended seeding depth is 1/8" to 1/2".

Non-Coated Seed Rates:

• New Seeding: 150-200 lbs/acre (Rotary or Drop Spreader)
• Overseeding with 20%-50% existing cover: 100-125 lbs/acre (Slicer/Seeder)
• Overseeding with 50%-75% existing cover: 75-100 lbs/acre (Slicer/Seeder)

Coated Seed Rates:

• 4-6 lbs per 1,000 sq ft (200-275 lbs/acre)

Maintenance Guidelines:
