When it’s too cold for other herbicides to be effective, Defendor™ specialty herbicide provides early season control of unsightly dandelions, clover and other annual and perennial broadleaf weeds. Defendor gives lawn care operators and golf course superintendents a head start on broadleaf weed control and more time to complete the first applications of the season. Labeled for use on both cool- and warm-season turf, Defendor offers powerful post-emergence broadleaf weed control in a convenient sprayable formulation.
Defendor can be tank-mixed with Dimension® 2EW specialty herbicide and applied at the same time lawn care operators are putting Cortevan the first fertilizer and pre-emergence crabgrass applications of the season. Defendor provides activity at extremely low use rates (0.013 LBS AI/A) when compared with other post-emergence herbicides.
