Preseason Infield Prep

1. Ensure the infield skin has been properly graded and compacted for positive runoff.
2. Apply PlayBall Topdressing to your infield according to the usage table based on your infield size and the depth of topdressing. Do not maintain more than 1/4" of topdressing on the surface of your infield skin.
3. Scarify or nail drag PlayBall Topdressing into the top 1/4". Do not till as an amendment.
4. Finish drag for consistent coverage across the infield skin.

In-Season Daily Maintenance

1. Maintain 1/4" coverage of PlayBall Topdressing on the surface. Add more as needed to maintain depth.
2. Saturate thoroughly with water between games and after the last game, if possible.
3. Light nail drag in the morning with proper moisture.
4. Finish with a mat drag and maintain even moisture until game time.

Wet Field Conditions

1. Apply PlayBall Topdressing to wet areas and allow the topdressing to absorb excess moisture.
2. Rake or drag smooth.
3. Remove excess the next day if the topdressing exceeds 1/2".
