Product Details
Use Contec DG® Dispersing Granule Technology 11-8-9 for greens, tees and other fine turf areas where a high nitrogen and potassium application is desired or when iron and manganese are needed to help correct or prevent deficiencies during the growing season.
DG Technology
With DG Technology, particles are more rapidly and efficiently broken down. Upon contact with water, each DG granule disperses into thousands of micro particles that move through the turf canopy into the root zone. This level of dispersibility delivers precise nutrient delivery, while eliminating issues associated with runoff and nutrient loss.
Guaranteed Analysis
Total Nitrogen (N) – 11%
Available Phosphate (P2O5) – 8%
Soluble Potash (K2O) – 9%
Magnesium (Mg) – 2.8%
Iron (Fe) – 0.2%
Manganese (Mn) – 0.2%
Use Sites:
- Greens and tees
- Other fine turf areas where a high nitrogen and potassium application is desired or when iron and manganese are needed to help correct or prevent deficiencies during the growing season
Application
Low: 2.3 LBS/1,000 SQ FT
Light: 4.5 LBS /1,000 SQ FT
Medium: 6.8 LBS /1,000 SQ FT
High: 9.1 LBS /1,000 SQ FT
Watering in this product will disperse each granule into thousands of particles. This will facilitate the movement of the nutrients into the soil. This particle dispersion will also greatly reduce ball, shoe and mower pickup.Cold weather and/or cold water (lower than 45°F / 7°C) can result in slower particle dispersion.
See label for complete application instructions.
