Product Details

White Clover (Trifolium repens) is a perennial legume valued for its ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen, helping improve soil fertility while reducing fertilizer requirements. It forms a dense, low-growing stand that is well-suited for lawns, pastures, food plots, erosion control, and cover crop applications. White clover performs best in full sun to partial shade and adapts to a wide range of soil types when adequate moisture is available.

For rapid results, seed at a rate of 0.5 – 1LB per 1,000 square feet and plant no deeper than 1/4 inch. Because clover seed is very small, mixing it with a carrier such as sand, pelletized lime, or other inert material can help improve distribution and coverage during application. Germination typically occurs within 7–14 days under favorable soil temperatures and moisture conditions. Once established, white clover provides long-lasting ground cover, attracts pollinators, and remains productive through repeated grazing or mowing due to its strong regrowth capability.
