The TD is one of the few pathlight fixtures that can bridge the architectural gap of a white picket fenced home in Martha's Vineyard to a desert scape in Scottsdale. The simple symmetry and slender silhouette allows the TD to slip subtly into secluded sanctuaries. Using a direct downlight design, the TD is FX's highest efficiency luminaire. The 12-Watt lamp allows the TD to be as bright on the ground as 20-Watts in most similar style pathlights. The asymmetrical elliptical lighting pattern pushes the light out in front of the TD making it great for area lighting from the perimeter. By day or night, the simple lines of the TD add elegance and function to any landscape. Precision milled fro solid brass and copper to strict tolerances, this pathway light transcends momentary style trends. The TD emits a large elliptical light pattern that projects 2' behind the fixture, 16' forward and 12' wide, but no higher that knee level. When mounted in lacy leaf plant material, the TD creates a mini-moonlight effect which allows the foliage shadows to dance on the walkway with the evening breeze.
Copper will patina in an unlimited array of natural earthtone colors. In the desert, a penny brown is common, on the coast, a blue or mossy green can occur. No two fixtures produce the same patina, which gives copper and brass a one-of-a-kind look, like any plant or garden element.
