Barricade 4FL Offers Quality Control All Season Before Weeds Germinate

Get unmatched weed control when you treat your turf with Barricade 4FL Pre-Emergent Herbicide. Prevent growth and development of newly germinated weeds and enjoy long-lasting results all season long.

Make Weeds a Thing of the Past When You Catch Them Before They Emerge

Timing is everything, and when you combine the right product with proper application, your job as a groundskeeper will change forever. By applying Barricade Pre-Emergent before the targeted weeds germinate, you can prevent those pesky weeds all season long with a single application. Barricade® 4FL herbicide offers flexible application in timing before emergence. Should the application need to occur several months prior, you'll still maintain that high level of weed control.

Barricade 4FL will not control weeds after they have already emerged.

Barricade 4FL also offers programmable weed control; adjust application rate to dial in the length of weed control you need. Use higher rates for maximum residual and length of control; use lower rates in shorter growing seasons. See label for additional details. Length of control also varies by turf species and application time of year.

Conveniently available in 30-gallon bulk container, 10-gallon LINK PAK, and 1-gallon container. Buying in bulk volumes can make handling and application easier, saving your team time and money.

FOR SUMMER ANNUALS: For annuals such as crabgrass, foxtails, goosegrass, and barnyard grass, a single application can be made as early as January to prevent weeds all season long. Also, late fall applications of Barricade 4FL in cool season turfgrasses after soil temperatures fall below 50°F but before the ground freezes will control crabgrass the following spring.
FOR WINTER ANNUALS: For annuals like Poa annua, henbit, and chickweed, applications should be made in the summer/fall before these broadleaf weeds germinate. For control of Poa annua, apply Barricade 4FL in August/September to non-overseeded turf before Poa annua seeds germinate.

HOW BARRICADE 4FL WORKS
Barricade 4FL controls susceptible weeds by preventing the growth and development of newly germinated weeds. Weed control is most effective when Barricade 4FL is activated by at least 0.5 inches of rainfall or irrigation or shallow incorporation (1-2 inches) before weed seeds germinate and within 14 days following application.
For resistance management, Barricade 4FL is a Group 3 herbicide. Any weed population may contain or develop plants naturally resistant to Barricade 4FL and other Group 3 herbicides. The resistant biotypes may dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly in the same field. Appropriate resistance management strategies should be followed.
