Captain XTR is a chelated copper formulation that is effective in controlling a broad range of green and blue-green (cyanobacteria) algae, including filamentous, planktonic, and macrophytic. Captain XTR is also an effective herbicide on submersed weed species with susceptibility to copper. The ethanolamines in Captain XTR reduce the precipitation of copper with carbonates and bicarbonates in the water.
Applied at the first sign of an algal bloom, SeClear's copper ions inhibit photosynthesis in algal cells, providing fast-acting control, while simultaneously removing phosphorus from the water column. SeClear gets to the source of unsightly algal blooms, reducing the amount of nutrients available and lowering the chance of a recurring bloom.
Komeen Crystal provides consistent, on-contact, broad-spectrum control of submersed aquatic weeds and bottom algae in a wide variety of application situations, including high turnover and small spot-treatment areas. This concentrated formulation allows for low use rates and improved control of nuisance aquatic weeds in deep water, high flow sites, or for spot treatments along shorelines.
