Use Rate Best Practices-

• Apply at 0.5 FL OZ/1,000 SQ FT (6 acres/GAL) every 14 days.
• Apply after mowing with sufficient water to uniformly cover the turf and allow area to dry completely before irrigation.

Registered for Rapid Blight Suppression-
Rapid blight (Labyrinthula terestris) is a relatively new disease of turfgrasses, with Poa annua, Poa trivialis and perennial ryegrass species being most susceptible. Secure was granted a section 2(ee) in 14 states for suppression of rapid blight in turfgrasses. Secure provides a different mode of action than currently registered fungicides. The following are application recommendations for treating rapid blight with Secure:

• Use as a preventive application.
• Apply 0.5 FL OZ/1,000 SQ FT (6 acres/GAL) with application interval timing of 14 days.
• Do not exceed 258 FL OZ (8.4 LBS of active ingredient) per acre per year (the Secure label allows for a maximum of 12 applications per year).
• For the most effective application, apply in one to two GAL of water/1,000 SQ FT

Note: Can be tank-mixed with other fungicides labeled for control of rapid blight. Always read and follow label instructions.

Use Restrictions-

• Do Not apply Secure to home lawns (turf) or any other residential turf
• Do Not apply Secure through any irrigation system
• Do Not apply Secure within 25' feet' of permanent water bodies (lakes, reservoirs, rivers, permanent streams, or natural ponds).
• Do Not apply Secure when the wind direction is toward aquatic areas to minimize drift to these areas.

Tank Mix Application Information and Proper Preventive Measures

Secure is physically compatible with many products recommended to control diseases, liquid fertilizers, growth regulators, insecticides, and biological control products. If tank mixes are desired, read and follow all directions, precautions, and limitations on labeling of all products used. This product must not be mixed with any product which prohibits such mixing. It is the applicator’s responsibility to ensure that the companion product is EPA approved for use on the intended site.

Since many factors influence pesticide compatibility, it is best to conduct your own jar test to determine compatibility, especially when applying a new mixture for the first time. The compatibility of pesticide-fertilizer combinations should also be tested on a small scale before large batches are mixed. If compatibility issues are detected, adding a compatibility agent may help maintain the dispersion of the mixture. Always wear label-required personal protective equipment when pouring or mixing pesticides. Do a jar test in a safe workspace.

When using Secure in tank mixtures, add all products in water-soluble packaging to the tank before any other tank mix partner, including Secure. Allow the water-soluble packaging to dissolve completely and the product(s) to completely disperse before adding any other tank mix partner to the tank.

Apply Secure in sufficient water to obtain adequate uniform coverage of the turf. Apply in a minimum spray volume of 40 gals of water per acre on fairways and 90 gals of water per acre on tees and greens.
