Fertilizers and acid rain often cause an acid soil environment that can affect plant growth. Many soils are naturally acidic. Acid soil prevents growing plants from effectively using the available nutrients in the soil.
NutraLime is non-toxic and dust-free. It dissolves immediately to reduce soil acid and bring soil pH levels into proper balance. All successful lawns and gardens need proper pH control as an important part of their maintenance program.

Application

New Lawns: Apply 40 LBS of NutraLime per 1,000 SQ FT and rake lightly into the soil before seeding

Established Lawns: Apply 12 LBS of NutraLime per 1,000 SQ FT. For clay soils, increase the spreader setting to apply 18 LBS per 1,000 SQ FT.
Maintenance applications should be repeated 1-2 times per year, or whenever soil pH drops below 6.3, at a rate of 4-6 LBS of NutraLime per 1,000 SQ FT. NutraLime may be applied with any lawn spreader at the same as fertilizer applications.

For incorporation, after application, wet thoroughly 30 minutes before tilling.
