We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills to join our service team at our Sussex, WI location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between service technicians and service customers.
  • Collaborate with shop technicians regarding work orders.
  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service through greeting, reporting, and follow-up, regularly.
  • Process paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Mentor and educate staff members on business software and productivity software functionality.
  • Develop and communicate customer quotes for repair.
  • Process outgoing and incoming shipments.
  • Develop a broad range of knowledge in various areas of equipment repair including equipment set- up, warranty processing, and customer invoicing.
  • Process purchase orders.
  • Utilize the scheduling system to maintain customer communications throughout the repair process.
  • Weekly review of all open orders for accuracy.
  • Communicate, via email, with the Transportation Manager on the pickup and delivery of equipment.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

  • High School Education or GED Equivalent, required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Must be able to perform basic math functions and read/comprehend written procedures.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of commercial turf maintenance equipment, desired.
  • Willingness to become Toro Certified as a Service Advisor.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Customer service experience, desired.

  • Deliver and pick-up freight as required.
  • Manage proof of delivery paperwork from customers, includes obtaining signatures and collecting payment, when indicated.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, maintain accurate record of products loaded and unloaded.
  • Check mechanical aspects of the vehicle; knowledge of pre/post-trip inspections and conduct pre-trip vehicle inspection to ensure working conditions and safety. Inspect load for weight compliance and ensure cargo is well secured.
  • Log vehicle trips, hours of service and DVIR thru the Geo-Tab software program.
  • Report accidents, driving violations, and incidents to your supervisor immediately, in compliance with Reinders’ Driver Policy.
  • Operate various types of trucks/vehicles and material handling equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Education or GED Equivalent.
  • Class A driver’s license with a driving record free of any major violations.
  • Comply with federal DOT guidelines by acquiring and maintaining a valid, federal medical card.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
  • Experience operating forklifts and electric/manual pallet jacks or similar equipment.

Position Description

Reinders, Inc. is a leading distributor of solutions and supplies to the green industry and has a full time employment opportunity in our Plymouth, MN facility. We are seeking to fill the role of Customer Service. It entails aspects of sales and operations.

The ideal candidate should be driven to offer quality customer service. Aspects of sales activities are: inside sales, order entry, pulling customers orders, quoting as well as order follow-thru. Operational duties will include: stocking product, shipping/receiving, forklift operation, facility cleanliness, merchandising upkeep, inventory control, and opening/closing of service center. Additional responsibilities are: salesperson support, paperwork processing, delivery assignments (generally during Reinders’ peak sales season). Regular attendance is an essential function of this Job.

Experience and Skills

  • 2+ years experience in irrigation, landscaping, nursery, related distribution or retail sales
  • Clean driving record and ability to fulfill requirements set forth in Reinders Driver Safety Program
