Position Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, detail oriented and dependable individual to join our Accounting Team at the Sussex, WI location. Reinders, Inc. is a family owned, distribution company established in 1866, headquartered in Sussex, WI with 200 employees and 12 locations across the Midwest. The Accounts Receivable Credit and Collections Manager will be responsible for the direction and coordination of credit and collection functions including billing, collections, bad debt reserve analysis and project management. This position and related activities will require interfacing with all levels of Operations, Sales, Customer Service and Accounting personnel on a regular basis.

Essential Functions of the Position

  • Supervision of two direct reports
  • Determine customer credit capacity, manage the compilation of credit information, analyze and interpret available information and authorize extension of credit.
  • Ensure all cash received is properly applied via management of all cash applications
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing
  • Ensure timely collection of payments
  • Determine appropriate action to take in collection of past due accounts where normal collection procedures have failed
  • Execute lien waivers and UCC filings
  • Audit methods and procedures of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency
  • Coordinate assignment of accounts to outside agencies for additional collection efforts including legal action

Qualifications

  • At least three to five years of experience in an Accounts Receivable manager or supervisory role
  • Knowledge of applicable Accounts Receivable Systems and procedures within an ERP System
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and employees in a professional manner
  • Works well in a collaborative environment

    Position Description

    Reinders Inc., a 150-year-old landscape and commercial equipment distributor based in Sussex, WI has recently launched a fast growing E-Commerce store and is seeking a motivated and organized applicant for a full time position. The best applicant will be detailed and data driven — one interested in generating and updating website content (products, promotions) primarily for Reinders.com, in order to increase online sales and boost customer interaction.

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    PIM (Product Information Management Software) / CMS – Learn and master Reinders Online Store Backend software

    • Manage new user requests for the Reinders Online Store
    • Create logins and verify all data is accurate
    • Update products through import or manually
    • Update product pricing
    • Test and implement new Reinders Online Store enhancements & features
    • Test and implement online only promotions
    • Review logs for issues daily

    Product Data – Maintain product detail pages

    • Add new products from manufactures on a weekly basis
      • Gather data from the manufacture to populate rich content for products
    • Work with vendor’s marketing teams
    • Work with design team to cultivate great imagery

    Customer Service – Learn internal ERP system and help successfully process web orders

    • Monitor and maintain all web orders from Reinders.com
    • Work with customer service staff from each location to make sure orders are processed successfully
    • Field and answer customer questions regarding the online store, providing excellent customer service
    • Troubleshoot and determine a fix for customer issues with the online store
    • Field customer issues with their order and direct to the appropriate parties
    • Manage Reinders Contractor Training Portal
      • Troubleshoot issues
      • Sign new users up

    Research – Research new Ecommerce trends

    • Reinders encourages staff to research and present the most recent trends in e-commerce and content. Willing to take the time and learn about all aspects of Reinders

    Reporting – Provide specific web data reports to the Ecommerce Manager

    Qualifications

    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, IT, or an equivalent combination of 1-3 years training and experience in the e-commerce or marketing field.
    • Computer literate and understanding of basic web technologies (browsers, basic HTML, data files) is a plus
    • Experience in B2B and B2C e-commerce / marketing practices is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Experience working with an e-commerce CMS is a plus
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Extremely detail oriented
    • Ability to multi-task effectively and take on multiple projects at once
    • Previous experience in modern SEO is a major plus
    • Great attitude and able to work in small teams

    Physical Requirements

    • Able to sit for long periods of time
    • Occasionally lift items 10-30 pounds

    • Prepare and process outgoing orders for shipment.
    • Input shipping documents for all carriers.
    • Receive and process incoming shipments.
    • Unload and load vehicles ranging from a customer’s personal vehicle to a semitrailer at ground level or through dock doors. Must be able to operate a forklift.
