Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part Time HR/Payroll Assistant to join our Human Resources team at our corporate location in Sussex, WI. The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday-Friday afternoons averaging 20-25 hours per week.

The HR/Payroll Assistant provides administrative and technical assistance to the Human Resources Department in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position ensures the accurate and timely processing of company payroll and coordinates and administers safety training and compliance of Reinders Inc. drivers’ programs. In addition, the HR/Payroll Assistant will perform other administrative functions to assist in overall company operations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist in processing employee payroll information (timecards, deduction authorizations, bonuses, commissions, adjustments) to ensure accurate and timely payment is made to employees for each payroll period.
  • Input changes into timekeeping system and document entries onto spreadsheets to audit time records and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-employment exams with partner medical clinics and candidates for hire.
  • Oversee company drivers’ policies and programs.
  • Enter company drivers into database to monitor driver’s licenses, medical cards, and Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR). Notify employees and managers of upcoming expiration dates and schedules follow up exams to remain compliant.
  • Verify registrations of all CDL drivers on FMCSA Clearinghouse prior to hire and run reports. Maintain Clearinghouse website with any relevant information impacting driver status.
  • Administer and monitor random drug testing program for qualified employees.
  • Set up safety training for drivers as needed.
  • Complete employment verifications for previous/current employees. Conduct verifications of employment for candidates in driver positions.
  • Organize and order food/supplies for corporate events for luncheons, vendor events, and education events.
  • Administrative support work to include filing of department paperwork and employee files, processing reimbursements, verifying invoices, and maintaining vending services. Shop and stock conference room refrigerator with beverages.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field, or the equivalent amount of experience. 2+ years of experience in progressive HR duties.

Language Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and use of fractions and decimals.

Other Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable in various aspects of HR compliance and legal regulations.
  • PC literacy with an aptitude for using technology; working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office products.

Job Summary:

The Service Technician II performs all types of mechanical repairs and maintenance work on commercial products. This level of experience requires expertise in hydraulic and electrical system diagnosis and repairs. Performs small engine overhaul and repairs on gas and diesel engines, welding and painting, minor repair and maintenance on Reinders’ vehicles as necessary and assists in maintenance of shop tools and equipment.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Perform expert repair in hydraulic repairs and diagnostics.
  • Read and use hydraulic schematics to diagnose complicated hydraulic issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on commercial and consumer products.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on small gas and diesel engines, as well as machine hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Set up new equipment per manufacturer and customer specifications.
  • Complete SRO (Service Repair Order) for each repair or set-up.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain the five Toro certifications through on the job training, using the Toro training system, to become a Master Technician.
  • Move heavy equipment manually or with use of fork truck move heavy equipment.
  • Work as a team player to maintain or increase the overall productivity and efficiency of the service team.
  • Provide and maintain their own tools.
  • Maintain their work area and shared shop tools in a clean and safe working order.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum of one to two years related experience.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative will be on the front line working with customers by taking orders, answering questions, and expediting deliveries. Partnering with the outside sales group and our fulfillment teams, the Inside Sales Representative accurately enters sales orders in person, over the phone, or electronically.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the customer relationship including pricing, order entry, fulfillment processes, order status information, inventory levels/reporting, shipment notification, coordination/consolidation of shipments, handling customer complaints, and correcting order and billing errors.
  • Perform a variety of duties to assist customers by answering questions, identifying their needs and preferences related to merchandise, and interacting with other departments as required.
  • Enter sales orders, data, product, warehouse records, and other computer entry as needed.
  • Follow up on customer quotes and orders by managing the customer order pick-up process. This could include unpacking orders received from manufacturers, picking orders, staging orders for shipment, and managing the payment transactions.
  • Develop knowledge of the Reinders product line offerings and options to solicit business, make recommendations, upsell, or suggest alternatives to customers.
  • Use knowledge of customer buying patterns or as directed by Reinders management, contact customers to promote and secure Reinders orders of products, promotions, and services.
  • Actively participate in training opportunities for new and existing products, systems, and sales.
  • Work with Reinders management to identify the appropriate products and optimal inventory levels for the showroom selling floor. Adjust and maintain inventory levels appropriate for the season by transitioning the showroom from one season to another.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for compiling and executing inbound and outbound shipments of products and materials. The primary focus of this position is to load and unload trucks, move bulk materials, and process inbound and outbound orders. The Warehouse Material Handler will also operate forklifts and pallet jacks on a regular basis.

  • Prepare orders by pulling materials, pack boxes, stack on pallets, and stage for shipment.

  • Verify inbound material against packing list and receive into computer.

  • Previous experience and/or ability to operate an electric lift, cherry picker, electric and manual pallet jack.
