Position Summary:

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of a store and warehouse location as it relates to the general landscape, irrigation, golf, and lawn-care customers. The Manager will work with Reinders’ Field Sales Representatives, Marketing, and Product Managers to plan and implement programs to grow the business at the store. They will execute the company’s operational objectives and strategies to protect the store’s assets and ensure efficiencies.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Attain sales goals and objectives through effective utilization of company assets and staff.
  • Actively manage sales transactions, including counter/phone sales and expediting deliveries.
  • Manage store processes relating to paperwork, bank deposits, facility cleanliness, and other operations.
  • Work with Product Managers and Field Sales Representatives to develop and implement pricing initiatives and provide high quality customer service to customer accounts.
  • Work with the Marketing Department, Purchasing, and Product Managers to coordinate inventory, merchandising, and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain monthly managerial reporting to meet set standards.
  • Train, develop, and manage performance of Store Associates.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and coordination of replenishment.
  • Address facility and fleet vehicle maintenance needs in coordination with the Fleet Services and Building Maintenance Departments, along with the Operations Manager.
  • Description of other duties that may be assigned:
  • Participate in cross-training initiative across divisions.
  • May be required to accept temporary assignment to other Reinders locations within the same geographic area.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Three years or more experience in related distribution or management in retail sales.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and use of fractions and decimals.

Other Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented, quality conscious, and excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry background in Reinders markets such as golf, landscaping, turf maintenance, irrigation.

Physical Demands:

Must have the ability to meet physical requirements, including alternating between standing, sitting, walking, bending, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

The environment is in a retail/service center setting, with visits to the warehouse. The noise level is moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near equipment such as pallet jacks, delivery trucks, and lawn/turf equipment.

Position Summary:

The Service Technician performs all types of mechanical repairs and maintenance work on commercial products. Will be performing small engine overhaul and repairs on gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems work, welding and painting, minor repair and maintenance on Reinders’ vehicles, and assists in maintenance of shop tools and equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on commercial and consumer products.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on small gas and diesel engines, as well as machine hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Set up new equipment per manufacturer and customer specifications.
  • Complete Service Repair Orders (SRO) for each repair or set-up.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain the five Toro certifications through on the job training and the Toro training system.
  • Provide and maintain their own tools.
  • Maintain their work area and shared shop tools in a clean and safe working order.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, bend, squat, reach overhead, lift, push, and pull. The employee must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs. and perform lifting of 75 lbs. with assistance.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a maintenance shop environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Steel-toed shoes are required in the maintenance shop. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with a variety of tools and near or with equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and trucks.

Position Summary:

The purpose of the Delivery Driver is to transport orders of equipment, materials, and supplies. The Delivery Driver will operate a flat-bed truck, box truck, and pick-up truck. This position includes some warehouse duties of loading and unloading orders, stocking inventory, and maintaining the warehouse.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Deliver orders to appropriate customers and maintain Tier driver status.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks with customer orders. This may entail operating a forklift.
  • Assist with mapping of delivery routes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles.
  • Ensure that vehicle certificates and licenses are current.
  • Perform light maintenance on delivery vehicles.

  • Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting the completion of other work activities.
  • Assist with facility cleanliness by maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work is primarily performed on the road in one of the company delivery vehicles. The employee will work outside occasionally while delivering goods. There will be occasional work in a warehouse and store setting. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee will occasionally work near equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and lawn/turf equipment.
