On Monday, June 1, all store locations will reopen the doors to service walk-in customers.  We will continue to offer curbside pickup as that has had positive feedback.  Furthermore, general store hours will be extended Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Additional precautions will be instituted to safeguard employees and customers:

  • Plexiglass barriers at all counters
  • Requirement for employees to wear face masks if interacting with customers (outside of the counter shields)
  • Only 1 company representative in at a time
  • Continued encouragement of 6’ social distancing within the stores with specific markings at the counter

We will welcome customers back in our Buffalo Grove and Kenosha stores Wednesday, May 27th, and in Hudson on Thursday, May 29th.

Customer and employee comfort and safety is still our top priority. Counter shields, social distancing, and sanitizing will be in operation. Curbside pickup is encouraged and will continue for customer convenience. Please stay tuned for updates on the re-opening of the remainder of our stores.

To our customers, business partners, and vendors,

Reinders will remain open during the COVID-19 pandemic.  In accordance with the current health crisis and our efforts to enforce social distancing recommendations, we’ve implemented increased safety measures at our locations to encourage safe and efficient pickup of products. Below are some key updates for you to be aware of and understand:

Starting immediately, we will no longer be supporting walk-in traffic at any of our facilities, including Will Call counters. All Will Call orders will effectively move to a curb-side pickup format going forward. We will be securing the doors and placing a friendly and cautious message on each door, directing our customers to place orders online or call for their will call orders, pickups and any needed changes. We will then safely and quickly bring their orders to them, or, direct them to a dock location for pickup, if needed. We will be signing for all signature capture needs through our own team, and writing the customer’s name, in place of a signature, on the pick ticket. This is for both our team safety and for our customer’s safety, and will further reduce unnecessary contact.

Our Truck Driving and Delivery teams will be taking added precautions to reduce contact. This will include our drivers signing for all signature captures with the customer’s name upon delivery. Additionally, we are asking our drivers to practice an extra amount of caution through hand sanitization after each delivery, the use of gloves and practicing a solid 6-foot social distancing guideline for all contact both in our facilities and in the field.

To our Valued Customers,

At this time our stores will remain open for business. We are taking steps to allow our associates and you, our valued customers, to operate and transact with health and safety in mind. 

We are closely monitoring the outbreak situation for Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will continue to adhere to relevant guidance from government and health authorities.   Our top priority is to ensure that we continue to provide high-quality support and service to your business while at the same following the CDC guidelines for social distancing and personal hygiene.  

In response to COVID-19, we have instructed portions of our workforce to work from home, effective Monday, March 16, 2020.  We are requesting that all employees self-quarantine and stay home if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms and seek medical attention for fever and other COVID-19 related symptoms.  We are asking the same of our customers, vendors and suppliers.

To protect employees and visitors, Reinders would like to limit the face-to-face contact as much as possible while still providing the highest level of service and support.  For those who do not wish to come inside the store, we encourage you to do the following:

 

SHOP.     Buy online at Reinders.com or call ahead to pick up at a store near you.

DRIVE UP.   Drive to the Reinders location where you place the order.

CALL.  Call the store to speak to a sales representative and share your order information.

DELIVER.  Stay in your vehicle.  A Reinders team member will deliver the order to your vehicle.

 

NOTES:

For those who need to enter the store, when the number of customers arriving to enter at the same time exceed guidance, we will limit by staggering entry.
We have increased our cleaning of the facility common areas to be cleaned 3 times per day, utilizing CDC practice guidance.
Onsite employees will be issued work gloves for handling paperwork/signatures/doors
During this time, we will remove or disable our Customer Corners snack and online browsing terminals.

Please don’t enter or visit the store if you are experiencing flu-like or other COVID-19 symptoms.         

Again, we have every intention to keep stores open and will adjust as necessary to keep operations at a level to service your needs while maintaining the recommended practices for health and safety.

We do not anticipate any disruption to you due to this policy. We thank you for your business and please know that we consider the success and health of your business to be as important as that of our own.
