PROFILE SEED AIDE Outperforms Paper Mulch

PROFILE SEED AIDE outperforms paper mulch and straw mulch by providing a combination of cellulose and wood fiber mulch, organic tackifier and bio-stimulant. All in a safe and easy to apply granule. In independent University testing, PROFILE SEED AIDE outperformed in all categories:

  • Less Soil Erosion
  • Less Water Runoff
  • Retains More Seed
  • Greater Average Plant Height and Dry Weight
  • Higher Percentage of Germinating Seed

SEED AlDE's lower density provides for better soil surface coverage. SEED AIDE blue-green in color on left, paper mulch pellets on right. Application rate for each product is 75 lbs/1000 sq ft.

 UNIVERSITY TESTED

Slope  3 to 1  SEED AIDE  100 Ibs /1000 sq ft
Rainfall Rate 4 in/hr    SEED AIDE  75 Ibs /1000 sq ft
Test Duration  30 min  Paper Mulch  75 Ibs /1000 sq ft

At a comparable rate of 75 lbs per 1000 sq ft, SEED AIDE reduced erosion by more than 27% and water runoff by more than 29% versus paper mulch. At the 100 lbs per 1000 sq ft rate, SEED AIDE reduced erosion by nearly 90% and water runoff by 68%

SEED AIDE Mulching Granules at the 75 lb rate yielded a higher percentage of germinating seed
and greater plant growth than a comparable application of paper mulch.
