Reinders, Inc. is a family owned distribution company established in 1866 in Elm Grove, WI. We have six store locations across Wisconsin in Milwaukee (Elm Grove), Waukesha, Kenosha (Bristol), Madison, Appleton (Little Chute), and Stevens Point (Plover); three stores across Illinois in Chicago (Franklin Park), Vernon Hills and Rockford; two stores in Minnesota - Minneapolis (Plymouth) and Rochester; and one store in Kansas City, Missouri. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS

Reinders, Inc. established in 1866 is a leading distributor of solutions and supplies to the green industry. Reinders is a growing, privately-owned, family run business with over 175 employees. We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service professional to work in our Parts Deparment as we transition to our new facility in Sussex, Wisconsin.

The Customer Service Representative communicates with customers both in person and on the phone, and various departments within the organization entering and processing orders, and handling all post order activity including monitoring inventory, and following up on orders and deliveries, or managing any customer inquiries.

Experience and Skills:

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years previous customer service in a fast paced environment, possess strong organizational and Microsoft Office/computer skills, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, and the ability to operate in a team environment with a pleasant friendly style are highly desirable. A mechanical or parts background would be highly desirable.

This position is full time and offers a compensation package which includes salary, bonus opportunities, paid time off, insurance coverage’s, 401k and more.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - APPLETON LOCATION

Reinders, Inc. is a leading distribuor of solutions and supplies to the green industry and has a full time employment opportunity in our Appleton, WI facility. We are seeking to fill the role of Customer Service. It entails aspects of sales and operations.

The ideal candidate will be driven by offering quality customer service. Aspects of sales activities are: inside sales, order entry, pulling customers' orders, quoting as well as order follow-thru. Operational duties will include: stocking product, shipping/receiving, forklift operation, facility cleanliness, merchandising upkeep, inventory control, and opening/closing of service center. Additional responsibilities are: salesmen support, paperwork processing, delivery assignments and other duties related to daily activities.

Experience and Skills

  • 2+ years experience in irrigation, landscaping, nursery, related distribution or retail sales.
  • Proficient in Windows environment, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Clean driving record and ability to fulfill requirements set forth in Reinders Driver Safety Program.
  • Able to multi-task, while handling details and prioritizing a changing workload.
  • Self motivated and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
